How to make apple cake with caramel sauce
Ingredients
for the cake
- 2 eggs
- A cup of coarse sugar
- A cup of oil
- A cup of milk
- 2 bags of vanilla
- A very small spoon of cinnamon
- A pinch of salt
- 2 bags of baking powder
- 18 tablespoons of white flour
for the caramel sauce and topping
- A cup of sugar
- Half a cup of water
- Two tablespoons of butter
- A cup of boiled milk
- A spoon of starch
- Two large apples cut into slices
preparation

- First, cut the apple and put it in a bowl of water with a slice of lemon so that it does not oxidize.
- In a saucepan, put a cup of sugar and half a cup of water and put it on low heat. When the sugar melts and changes color, add two tablespoons of butter and stir gently. When the butter melts, add a tablespoon of starch that we mixed previously in a cup of boiling milk and stir well and carefully so that the mixture does not burn.
- When we get a homogeneous mixture, we remove it from the heat.
- Pour the sauce into the cake pan that we prepared in advance by placing butter paper in it.
- Spread the caramel on the bottom of the pan, then spread the apple slices.

- Scramble the eggs and sugar well until combined, then add the vanilla sugar, cinnamon, salt, oil and milk and continue mixing. When the ingredients are combined, gradually add the flour while continuing to mix. Finally, add the yeast bags and continue mixing well until the cake batter is homogeneous.
- Pour the mixture over the apple slices and caramel, then put it in the oven for 45 minutes at 180 degrees.
